Lonesome Valley Brewing, Prescott Valley, Arizona

Our Story

Brian and I started planning Lonesome Valley Brewing (Prescott Valley's first and only Craft Brewery) on April 1, 2013... after Brian got laid off... on April Fool's Day... two weeks before our wedding.

Never looking back, we started saving, researching, scouting locations, and selling property to afford it all! On September 1, 2013, we got the key to our very own brewery... and all the arm breaking work that came with it (literally!)

We opened our doors on Halloween 2013... without beer. Due to the government shutdown, our federal brewing license took longer to process than we had money to pay rent! We started by selling food, then other peoples beer, and finally in February 2014 Prescott Valley got to taste our beer... on cask even!

Everything was working out better that Brian and I could have dreamed! It looked like nothing could slow us down...

....and then... the pub caught on fire.

On August 14, 2014, a small electrical fire in the kitchen was caught early by our fantastic staff. The quick response from Central Yavapai Fire District B Shift helped reduce the damage and save our business. Thanks to the B shift and Yavapai County Health's inspectors we were only closed for one day!

In June 2014 we were fortunate enough to be able to hire an AMAZING chef, Brian Bellem.

He took our menu to the next level by making nearly everything from scratch in the pub. His philosophy dictates the customer should know what goes into their food... whole ingredients; purchased fresh and frequently.

Four years ago, Brian and I created Lonesome Valley Brewing based on a dream we had to bring craft brewing to Prescott Valley.  The community of beer enthusiasts, home brewers, mead makers and foodies which has developed here in the past three years is more amazing than we could have hoped for.

We are so proud of what the Prescott Valley community has fostered, nurtured, and supported in us. Now we want to share a taste of the Prescott Valley Craft Brewing community with the rest of Arizona by introducing our kegs and 22 oz bottles to the craft beer market. If you are interested in serving our beer at your restaurant or bar, let us know! You can contact our sales rep Kellie Morris via email at kellie@lonesomevalleybrewing.com
